Amanda Crawford is a native of Central Florida. At 17 she left FL for NYC to further her career as a classical ballerina. In 1994 she graduated from the State University of New York at Purchase with a BFA in Dance and began her professional ballet career with New York Theatre Ballet in New York City.
In 1998 she became a soloist with the company. Amanda danced professionally from 1994 until she retired in 2004. Throughout her professional career Amanda used Pilates for rehabilitation from dance related injuries. She understands first hand the positive impact Pilates has on the body. While still living out of state, Amanda first came to Fusion in 2014 accompanying her Mom (current client at Fusion) to take a Pilates class. She continued to return to Fusion every time she visited Central Florida. Finally, in 2016 she moved back to FL and joined the Fusion Fitness Team as a certified Pilates and Barre Instructor. Amanda says that “since retiring from dance no other job has fed my soul until now!” Amanda wants to inspire clients to embrace the body they have, help to develop ones own personal body awareness by understanding its unique strengths and weaknesses and lead clients through the importance of developing good technique and form so that they can effectively and efficiently reach their specific goals for exercising.
Born in South Miami Beach, Ariel Hernandez has been in the fitness industry for over 20 years. As Owner and Director of Fusion Fitness and Barre Bellas™ his goal is to provide the community with a family-friendly, non-judgmental environment for all fitness levels, including those with physical limitations. "I want my clients to feel comfortable and motivated when they walk in my studios. I carefully select and educate my staff so that you will always get a great workout. I am passionate about healing, change, and results. My clients challenge me, and that keeps my job exciting,"
With experience in dance and gymnastics, and with 10+ years as a leading National Pilates Educator with International Pilates school PHI, Ariel has expanded his certifications and training methods to include all forms of rehabilitation and fitness trends such as Urban Rebound, PowerFlex and Body Sculpt, Spinning, Yoga l-lll, Step and Stick, Jump Rope, Box Board, Kickboxing l-ll, Funk and Hip Hop, Interval Training, and Mat Pilates l-lll. He's even worked as a Certified Life Guard for the YMCA! A certified Pilates and Barre instructor at Fusion Fitness and Barre Bellas™, Dion Leonhard has been a dancer both regionally and nationally for the last 25 years. She has worked with three professional ballet companies, and regional groups throughout Central Florida. Currently she holds a position as one of the lead dancers for the Empty Spaces Theatre Co and its critically acclaimed offshoot troupe Phantasmagoria, as well as teaching and choreographing for the Lake Howell High School Chorus, Integrity Dance Center, and a variety of dancing studios in the area. In addition her work has expanded to choreographing shows at Valencia College.
Pilates has increasingly threaded itself through her career and training, and Dion strives to blend its technique into her students, her colleagues, and her ongoing work.
From actors to dancers, show choirs to cardio, working with individuals from all backgrounds and abilities has given Dion the ability and opportunity to customize each of her classes specifically for the individual student’s needs.Dion looks to combine her strong ballet background with the core techniques of Pilates, all the while adding more than a dash of cardio burn – all fused together to make a unique studio experience.
After many years as a Pilates Enthusiast, Jennifer decided she wanted to share her passion with others by becoming a Certified Pilates INstructor. Seven years ago, Jennifer gave up her career in Real Estate to become a stay-at-home mom. This is when she was introduced to Pilates.
After suffering from many years of chronic back pain, Jennifer's doctors recommended she try Pilates. She has trained under several different highly qualified instructors in places such as Chicago, London, and Ontario. Pilates has changed Jennifer's Life, she is a true testament of how much Pilates assist in eliminating pain due to personal injuries by strengthening your body.
Today jennifer, a mother of three, is pain free and feels both mentally and physically stronger then ever. Jennifer has been with Fusion Fitness from the beginning, first as a client and now as an Instructor. Jennifer hopes to make a difference in other people lives through the method of Pilates. Her goal is to teach her clients body awareness, to challenge their mind, strengthen their body, and to help imporve their quality of life. Jennifer loves watching her clients grow both mentally and physically, she finds it so rewarding to see them get the mind body connection that comes from Pilates. Jennifer is a certified Pilates Instructor through PHI pilates and is continuing her Pilates journey through education and certification programs offered by PHI pilates. Her goal is to one day be a master trainer.
In 2010, at 48, Karen found herself in daily pain. Severe scoliosis had taken over her body and pain controlled her life when she was placed on a reformer and was introduced to Pilates. In less than 6 months Pilates brought about a full body transformation. Karen controlled the pain and stood tall! Pilates granted back a quality to life that had completely disappeared. With 12 years teaching experience it was an easy transition to become a Pilates instructor and share with others her new found passion! She has since become certified through Ariel Hernandez and international Pilates school PHI.
She studied Power Pilates Classical format training for 2 years and Stott training for 2 years. She is also a certified Barre Instructor. Experiencing and sharing pilates is her life's journey and her passion!

Peter's passion as a Personal Trainer and Master Pilates Instructor is evident by his on-going commitment to learning and teaching. He has gained the trust of his clients and continues to guide them towards mental and physical well being. As the wellness world evolves and new information reshapes the industry, Peter continues to hone his Pilates technique under Master Trainer, Ariel Hernandez, Owner and Director of Fusion Fitness USA. Now with Barre and Motr classes he can continue to bring his bright personality and fresh outlook to both his group classes and private sessions alike.

HILA SHOHAM OSTEEN
Born in Jerusalem, Hila has always had a focus on fitness, health, and wellbeing. She discovered her passion for yoga while studying Chinese Medicine in Tel Aviv. After receiving her degree in Chinese Medicine, Hila transitioned full-time to Yoga, learning first Ashtanga Yoga under Shimon Ben Avi, the leading Ahstanga teacher’s trainer in Israel, and continuing her training in Israel, India, and abroad.Hila taught in the leading studios and gyms in Tel Aviv and Central Israel before recently moving here to Central Florida. Her style has developed over the years to incorporate Vinyasa Flow Yoga and Yoga Therapy on top of the more structured style of Ashtanga. In addition to leading large classes and teaching private lessons, Hila has used her Yoga Therapy background to work with cancer patients, supporting their recovery and helping develop pain and anxiety management skills crucial to handling such difficult health crises.Hila believes in the value of integrating the physical and spiritual aspects of the yoga practice into her teaching, which she further complements with elements from meditation, mindfulness, and Chinese Medicine. Hila explains, “Yoga helps people disconnect from the daily noise, clear the mind, and discover presence - all while improving strength, flexibility, and energy levels. The mind-body connection is real and building on one side amplifies the other. The yoga practice helps people develop this link.”
